Day 1, Narita airport, Japan

Welcome to Japan!

After a few hours of flying from Yangon, Myanmar (aka Burma), we have landed in Narita airport, Japan.

Truthfully, Narita airport vibe seems like a transfer airport and although seems big, it didn’t give me the wow factor as Incheon airport in South Korea on my previous trip or BKK of Thailand. Perhaps because both of my time stopping over in Narita airport on this trip, it is still the winter time so the weather is a bit gloomy and cold. Or is it because the airport looks a little sterile and plain vanilla? Overall, I was expecting more of Japan’s 2nd or maybe 1st busiest airport? I don’t dislike it but I was expecting more….more colorful like their Hello Kitty airplanes, or Kawai things.

However, it wasn’t all bad as I notice this little cutie in the bathroom
